Hair and Beauty
This industry offers a wide and diverse range of employment opportunities from working on TV, magazines, photoshoots, theatrical makeup, special effects makeup, and behind the scenes at shows and events, to leading a salon team or owning your own business.
You will train in our on-site commercial salon, which is open to the public, so you will gain first-hand experience with real clients.
Real World Learning
You’ll gain experience through work placements, volunteering at local events, and through competitions. You’ll hear from industry experts and local employers, whom we work closely with, to shape what you learn and prepare you for a successful career.
Facilities:
- On-site commercial salon open to the public.
- External trained staff from MUK and Aston & Fincher come into classes to give product demonstrations and knowledge which learners get to practise with.
