Her inspiring journey from enrolling onto a Level 2 Hairdressing programme to being nominated at the prestigious Hair and Beauty Awards (HBA) in the category of Best New Talent is a testament to her unwavering determination and passion.

Corrie-Jade’s story is one of perseverance and ambition. Despite the challenges of being a full-time mother, she embarked on her educational journey at Coventry College in September last year, eager to explore her passion for hairdressing. Within a mere 11 weeks into her course, Corrie-Jade discovered her niche in bridal hair styling and made the bold decision to establish her own business in this specialised field.

Juggling her responsibilities as a student, a full-time mother, and a budding entrepreneur, Corrie-Jade dedicated herself wholeheartedly to honing her craft and building her bridal hair business. Her hard work and talent soon garnered attention, leading to a steady stream of clients who were captivated by her skillful artistry and personalised service.

Now, seven months into her educational journey, Corrie-Jade’s remarkable achievements have earned her a nomination for the coveted HBA in the category of Best New Talent. This recognition is a testament to her exceptional abilities and the significant impact she has made in the hairdressing industry in such a short span of time.

Andrea, Corrie-Jade’s Lecturer and mentor throughout this journey, expressed her immense pride and excitement, stating,

Corries dedication to her craft is admirable, spending endless hours perfecting her techniques. As brides walk down the aisle adorned with her creations, knowing their hair is transformed into a cherished memory on their special day.”

As Corrie-Jade eagerly awaits the outcome of the Hair and Beauty Awards ceremony, her journey serves as a source of inspiration to aspiring students, mothers, and entrepreneurs alike, demonstrating that with determination, passion, and support, one can overcome any obstacle and achieve remarkable success.

“After setting up my bridal hair business 5 months ago, I have studied and worked harder than ever to perfect my skills and create the most beautiful bridal updos. I am still continuing to perfect my skills and grow my business, in doing so I took a leap and applied for the UKs official Hair and Beauty Awards Best New Talent category which I got accepted for.

I was so overwhelmed with happiness and pride when they shortlisted me as a finalist and it really helped me to realise how well I am doing, and that my work is being recognised.”
