If you’ve been away from education for some time or didn’t quite achieve your college qualifications, an Access to Higher Education programme will give you the confidence, skills and knowledge to take that next step to start a degree or equivalent university-level programme.

Fees and financial support
We understand that you may be worried about the costs associated with returning to study and the impact this may have on your family. We want to reassure you that there’s financial support available – whatever your circumstances.
Our Access to Higher Education programmes cost £3,022 plus £94 for your end of course exam. Read our Fee Policy
You may be entitled to a loan, grant or bursary to help with the cost of your studies.
If you’re aged 19-23 and have not achieved a Level 3 qualification (A Level equivalent) won’t need to pay for your Access to Higher Education programme.
Advanced Learner Loan
You can apply for this loan to help with the costs of your course. Eligibility doesn’t depend on your income and there are no credit checks.
What’s more, Student Finance England – who provide the loan will write off any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balances you owe for an Access to Higher Education course once you complete a higher education course. This means you do not have to repay it.

19+ Learner Support Fund
You may be able to apply for the fund if you’re 19+, have not taken out an Advanced Learner Loan and your annual income is below £25,000.

Progression Funding Support
Many of our Access to Higher Education learners progress onto a degree or university-level qualification. Depending on which degree you choose you may be entitled to additional grants and bursaries to support your learning.

We offer a range of services to support you from your initial enquiry right up to when you’ve completed your programme and beyond.
Learner Success
Lisa had been away from education for a long time but wanted to pursue a career in a medical role. Lisa is now in her final year of a Diploma in Operation Department Practice after completing an Access to Health programme. She has been offered a full-time role in the Operations Department at Warwick Hospital.
Herba completed her Access to Higher Education and is now working towards a Degree in International Business at Warwick University.
Mum of two, Muna has successfully completed an Access to Higher Education Business programme and has now studying a Degree in Economics at Aston University in Birmingham.
Charlene wanted to train to become a nurse but didn’t have the right qualifications. After completing an Access to Higher Education Health programme she’s now working toward her dream job and completing a Degree in Children’s Nursing at Coventry University.
Fee Policy
After enrolling at the College, you have a 14-day cooling off period in which you may change your mind, withdraw your registration and cancel the contract with the College. Written notice of cancellation must be given to the College within the 14-day cooling off period though reasons for cancellation will not be required. If the cancellation is carried out in this way, the College will refund any tuition fees already paid.
