How to apply

Your journey to joining us at Coventry College in September will look something like this:

Performing Arts

You will be required to submit a video of a 2-3 minute solo performance – this can include either a monologue, song or dance depending on which area of Performing Arts you are applying for (Acting, Musical Theatre or Dance).

At the end of the performance, we would like you to explain why you wish to study Performing Arts at the College.

Art & Design

You will be required to submit photographs of your sketchbooks showcasing your best drawing and painting skills.

Please email photographs of your work to Simon Gee:

3D Design

You will be required to submit photographs showing examples of your drawing and art & design projects, which demonstrate your ability, understanding of and interest in 3D work.

In addition, we would like you to draw a building or mode of transport of your choice in perspective, and explain why you like it in a detailed paragraph.

Graphic Design

You will need to produce three observational drawings of objects set up in front of you (items could include fruit, shoes, flowers, plants, etc) – no cartoons please! You will then need to submit photographs of your drawings.

In addition, if you have coursework available from GCSE Art or Graphic Design, please submit photographs of this work too.

You will need to submit 3-5 photos of your best GCSE Art/Textiles/Photography/Media work.

In addition, you will need to design 3 outfits to fit a specific brief we have createdplease click here to download a PDF containing full details of this task.
