Higher Education
There are lots of reasons to study a higher education qualification at Coventry College!
Our programmes are designed to fit around your life and commitments to ensure you have the best possible opportunity to achieve your study goals.
We offer a range of courses, including an option with split studying (called a “2+2”) where you study with us for two years and then top up to a degree-level qualification at the University of Warwick.
Our Higher Education courses include Business, Creative Media, Education, Health & Social Care, Management and more!
Fees and funding
Our tuition fees are considerably lower than university and we’ll help you access all the financial support that’s available. If you’re looking for a cost-effective solution, without compromising on quality, the course you’re looking for could be right here at Coventry College.
Want to study at uni-level but don’t have the right qualifications?
Think again!
Our Access courses provide a stepping stone to university-level study in a range of subject areas.
As long as you are over 19 and have a minimum of grade C in GCSE English and maths, you can study an Access to Higher Education course. You might also be eligible for an Advanced Student Loan, which helps to cover the cost of tuition fees.
We’ve put together a timeline showing key dates and deadlines when applying for a Higher Education course.
However, if you decide to apply later on or miss the January UCAS deadline, please don’t worry – get in touch with us and we will do our best to help you secure a place.
May to September
Now is the time to start researching courses and attending Open Events to get a good idea of what qualifications and results you will need for your chosen programme.
September
Applications open for the course starting next September on UCAS.
December
For students already studying at Coventry College, our Careers Advisors set a deadline for UCAS applications so that they can be checked and any alterations made before final submission.
January
The deadline for applications made to UCAS which are guaranteed to be considered takes place in January. You can still apply after this date, but ideally you should submit your application as early as possible.
February to May
You won’t know whether you’ve got the results to confirm your place on your course yet, but it’s a good time to start looking into your finance and support options.
May
Look out for your offer information. You might get a conditional offer (which will depend on the outcome of your exams) or an unconditional offer*.
June
Confirm or accept your offer, so we know whether you want to accept your place with us.
August
Enrol onto your course at the College during our enrolment period.
