This Higher National Certificate in Business course develops students to be professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the business sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. The qualifications aim to widen access to higher education and enhance the career prospects of those who undertake them.

You will need one of the following:
- 48 UCAS points with a minimum of Grade D from at least one A Level
- BTEC National Diploma with Pass, Merit
- BTEC Extended Diploma with Pass, Pass, Pass
- BTEC Subsidiary Diploma with Merit
- Access Diploma: Pass
Applications from Advanced Apprenticeships are welcomed.

The decisions on applications for HE candidates are made by curriculum staff after interview, audition or portfolio review have taken place.

Fees and funding
If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
