Former Access learner secures a place at leading UK university for Business

Coventry College learner and mum of two, Muna Omar has successfully completed an Access to Higher Education Business course and has now secured a place at Aston University in Birmingham.

In September 2021, Muna started  a Degree in Economics, which will help her to develop her business-critical skills further, preparing her for her future career.

Aston University is one of the UKs leading universities for learners aspiring to succeed in business and the professions.

Helen Morten, Access to Business at Coventry College said: “Muna completes all her work to an extremely high standard. She’s able to conduct in-depth research and discuss issues and topics collaboratively with others.”

Helen added: “Muna’s achievements just prove that continued learning is possible for everyone. She has two young boys and has successfully managed her home life and studying. It’s been a pleasure to teach Muna and I know she will go on to achieve great things.”
