Painting and Decorating Christmas Stencil Competition

Level 1 Painting and Decorating Students Celebrate Christmas with a Creative Stencil Competition!

This December, Level 1 Painting and Decorating students at Coventry College took part in a creative Christmas stencil competition. The brief was to produce a piece of work that showcased all the skills they have learnt in their first term, neat stencil work, perfectly level boarders, the correct measurements provided by their lecturer and a confident skill in shading and painting techniques.

The competition, organised by the Painting and decorating lecturer, Elliot Laming, was judged by the Head of Department Richard Joyce. After careful consideration of the entries, the top three students were chosen and rewarded with prizes supplied by Laming.

The competition was a great opportunity for the students to show off their creative skills and challenge themselves to produce something unique and of a professional standard. The students also had the chance to express themselves and be rewarded for their hard work and creativity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of not only the winners but also the other students who took part in the competition.

Coventry College is committed to providing a creative and engaging learning environment for its students. This competition is just one example of how the students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their skills.
