Course Overview

This course is ideal for candidates who want to pursue a career in public services (For example, Police Forces, British Army, Royal Navy, Ambulance Service, Fire Service, Royal Air Force, Prison Service, Border Force etc) You will learn how public services make a positive contribution to the community. You will understand the importance of keeping yourself fit and healthy to enable you to pass the recruitment and selection process. Therefore, you will participate in public service fitness tests and training sessions to help you prepare for your chosen career path.

Fees and funding

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
