    Level 2 Diploma in Motorsport, Maintenance & Repair

    This NEW course is aimed at enthusiastic young people aged 16 years old plus, who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of the requirements of an automotive technician within the motorsport, performance road cars and/or retail motor industries.

    Today’s BTEC Introductory qualifications will demand a lot of practical and written work from you. You will complete a range of units, be organised, take assessments that will demonstrate your skills and keep a portfolio of your assignments.

    Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

    A Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician services and repairs light vehicles such as cars and vans and works either in dealerships which focus on a particular manufacturer, or in an independent garage which deals with many different makes of vehicles. The technician will work on all the systems found within the vehicle. The day-to-day work ranges from replacing simple parts through to solving complex faults with the use of diagnostic methods and equipment. The tasks faced are constantly changing, driven by the introduction of ever more complex technologies and diagnostic techniques.

    Level 3 Vehicle Damage Paint Technician Apprenticeship

    A Vehicle Damage Paint Technician works in the vehicle body repair sector of the motor industry. The role is to prepare, spray and finish vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents in an efficient manner. The vehicles can include Cars/Light Commercial Vehicles. This includes ensuring correct colour match and final finish to the company and customers exacting standards. This is usually within a collision repair workshop or smart repair workshops/mobile repair micro business & working alongside another fully qualified Paint Technician.

    Level 2 Auto-care Technician (Light Vehicle) Apprenticeship

    An Auto-care Technician carries out a range of services and repairs to cars, car derived vans and light goods vehicles, working in an Auto-care or “Fast-Fit” Centre, which may be part of a national chain or operated by a regional/local independent group/owner. An Auto-care Technician requires a unique combination of technical, retail and customer service skills. They will use a range of tools, measuring and diagnostic equipment to identify & repair simple system faults.

    Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Mechanics and Maintenance

    Our motor vehicle department has industry experienced staff and the relevant vehicles to train you to successfully work in the motor industry.

    Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Mechanics & Maintenance

    Successful candidates will have the basic skills needed to apply for an automotive apprenticeship or similar engineering pathway. This qualification could also be used as an ‘interest’ course for a wide range of learners.

    Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Body Repair & Paint

    This is a hands-on and theoretical City & Guilds course where you learn some of the key skills required for a career in the motor industry. It’s designed for students who have completed a first-year training course in motor vehicle body repair and painting, and who want to extend their skills. It would suit college-based students

    Candidates wanting to develop some of the key skills and understanding in motor vehicle systems. Successful candidates will have the basic skills needed to apply for an automotive apprenticeship or similar engineering pathway. This qualification could also be used as an ‘interest’ course for a wide range of learners.

    Level 1 Diploma in Vehicle Body Repair & Paint

    This course is aimed at anyone interested in starting or developing a career in the motor industry. You do not need any previous experience or need to be in a current work placement. These qualifications are taught in a college or training provider and learning is by doing rather than writing lots of notes.
