Level 4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components – 2 Day course. This course is specifically designed for delegates that have complete the level 3 Award qualification in Electrically Propelled Vehicle Repair and Replacement. This training and qualification is designed to further understand the HV Battery management for both Nickel Metal Hybrid and Lithium Ion batteries, the operation and control of Inverters/Converters and the methods to control Three phase Synchronous brushless drive motors/generators. It will involve diagnostic and data gathering to troubleshoot HV system and the high level of safety involved within an organisation that wishes to service, maintain, diagnose and repair HV components on both Hybrid and Pure Electric Vehicles
