- Bringing in new and imaginative ideas
- Building partnerships with local training providers
- Tapping into new talent for the future
The Industry Placements Team
Our dedicated industry placement team aims to strengthen links between learners and employers.
The team helps to match learners with suitable placements in workplaces which relate to their areas of study (some study programme students only require 20 hours work experience for each academic year).
Based in the College’s Employer Engagement and Sales area, the team develops relationships with employers and works closely with them from the start to finish of a placement and links with college curriculum areas to ensure each learner’s work placement is tailored to reflect their college programme.
Our team members include:
- Jas Atwal – Industry Placement Team Leader – email@example.com
- Di Sturdy – Industry Placement Coordinator – firstname.lastname@example.org
- Helen Bradley – Industry Placement Coordinator – email@example.com
- Kirtsy McLaughland – Industry Placement Coordinator – firstname.lastname@example.org
- Emmanuela Tracy Acquah – Business Support Apprentice – Industry Placements – email@example.com

We view work experience and industry placements as valuable life experience for associates and managers within our business and for the learners themselves. Work experience gives the learner an insight into how a place of work operates and highlights their strengths and weaknesses within certain areas.
The hospitality industry is vast in everything that is has to offer and it is wise to identify which areas the individual enjoys and can develop within.
