Course Overview

The Way Forward course is an intensive GCSE English and Maths programme, designed for those learners who do not have a vocational career choice at present and prominently would like to concentrate on achieving/improving their Maths and English GCSE grades to a Grade 4.

You will also work towards a BTEC Certificate which is an introduction to Vocational Learning giving you the opportunity to build skills that enables you to apply your academic knowledge to everyday work contexts.

The timetable is based over 4 days working towards a BTEC Level 2 Award Qualification alongside GCSE Maths and English.

You will need to have been working towards GCSE Level qualifications.

Fees and funding

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
