Overview

Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills.

If you’re aged 19 and over you can access free numeracy courses through Multiply to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.

Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.

There are courses for beginners to more advanced courses such as GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Qualifications, or equivalent, so you will be able to learn at a pace that suits you.

Aged 19 or over?  Need help with maths?

These free courses will help you to:

  • Be more confident with numbers
  • Manage your money
  • Work out bills and what you’ve got left to spend
  • Help children with homework
  • Improve your job prospects

FREE and flexible learning:

  • Short part-time courses
  • Learn at your own pace
  • Individual support from qualified tutors
  • Face-to-face sessions, online learning or a combination of both

After successfully completing this course you can progress onto a Maths Functional Skills (entry 1 to Level 2) course to further develop your maths skills. Functional Skills are alternative qualifications to GCSEs and are nationally recognised qualifications. Find out more about Functional Skills courses.
