Course Overview

You will work as part of a production company to deliver an exciting project! Initial group work and self reflection will allow you to consider your strengths and take on your dream role!

Production roles might include:

  • Website designer
  • Marketing manager
  • Photographer
  • Story board artist
  • Script writer
  • Director
  • Make-up artist
  • Costume designer
  • Performer (actor/dancer/singer)

Across the 14 week project you will collaborate with your peers developing communication and team work skills, as you work towards a common goal. Alongside your time in College you will also be invited to attend offsite trips and visits and additional workshops led by industry professionals.

Successful completion of RESTART could lead to a variety of full time programmes at Coventry College from September 2024 and you will be able to engage in ‘progression sessions’ in order to plan your next steps.

14 Weeks.

Assessment Methods

Learners will be assessed via practical, project based work.  They will generate a folder of evidence in support of the work undertaken that can be used to support their interview across a range of September 24 courses.

Qualification

Learners will achieve a certificate of participation and invited to interview on their chosen progression pathway following successful course completion.

Fees and funding

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
