Salary: £18,511 to £20,205 per annum 

Are you passionate about preparing and cooking a wide and appealing range of high quality food items, and would like to share that passion for the benefit of those studying and working at the College by joining the catering team at Coventry College?  

Do you possess a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent, and hold at least an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate? If so, you could be who we are looking for to provide and develop the catering service across the College’s two on-site food service areas, as well as hospitality for meetings and events held at the College.  

You need to be up-to-date with your health and safety, hygiene, temperature control regimes and food allergy knowledge, and be capable of catering for a range of dietary requirements including for ethnic and religious preferences.  

You will assist the Catering Manager in developing and styling the food service offer to meet customer expectations and preferences and will be responsible for the ordering, controlling and checking in of stock.

Working at Coventry College you will need to have an understanding of your responsibilities relating to the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults, and you will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS with barred list check if you are successful in your application.
