Salary: £24,137.00 – £34,421.00 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

The Engineering Department offers a diverse curriculum, from practical mechanical engineering skills-based programmes to programmes designed to support learners into Higher Education or Degree Apprenticeships. The department boasts excellent facilities and has ambitious growth targets to help fill the skills shortages in the region and tap into the talent within the City.
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated person to join our highly-dedicated team as a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering Assessor. This role primarily involves working with apprentices who are being trained in the practical skills and underpinning knowledge in the manufacturing and maintenance engineering sectors. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a related subject. They will be able to act as an external face of the College and maintain good relationships with employers.
