Travel and Tourism Students Excel During Work Experience at TUI

Two Travel and Tourism students from Coventry College recently completed a highly successful work experience placement at TUI (Coventry Arena), gaining invaluable industry insights and practical experience.

 Scarlett and Louise had the unique opportunity to work closely with the TUI team, shadowing client consultancies, learning the intricacies of booking and planning value packed holidays, and acquiring expert knowledge in the field. Over the course of their placement, Scarlett and Louise immersed themselves in the day-to-day operations of TUI, one of the leading travel and tourism companies.

They were able to observe and participate in client consultations, gaining a first hand understanding of the customer service and planning skills required to excel in the industry. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn were evident from the start, and they quickly adapted to their tasks, working seamlessly with the TUI team.
