Coventry College is helping to boost sustainability in workplaces across the West Midlands with the launch of a new virtual training course in Sustainable Management.

Award-winning business support organisation Birmingham Enterprise Community (BEC) has teamed up with Coventry College to create a Professional Certification in Sustainable Management, helping West Midlands professionals to future-proof their businesses and achieve net-zero goals.

The course, which gets underway on Monday, February 6, will be delivered online by BEC on behalf of Coventry College as part of the Adult Education Skills Boot Camps funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority – and time is running out for professionals to book their place.

The fully-funded, eight-week course has been designed with industry experts to demystify sustainability for employees.

It focuses on upskilling participants to help them become a sustainability champion, enabling individuals to support positive changes in business practice.

This course is open to anyone wanting to become a sustainability expert and practitioner or current sustainability managers looking to advance their knowledge.

Gemma Knott, Vice Principal for Business Growth, Engagement and Partnerships at Coventry College, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our professional education provision with the launch of this course delivered by BEC.

“There is still time for businesses and individuals to get involved and book their place on the course, which delivers essential information on sustainable business practice and helps to bring sustainable thinking into all aspects of management.”
