Semi-Finals for Catering Team!
Congratulations to our Catering Team who have reached the semi-final of the Nestlé Professional Torque d’Or competition 2019!
We are immensely proud of this amazing achievement, having been chosen from over fifty other competing teams.
The next round sees the remaining 24 teams compete in March in the National Heats, exposing the learners to challenges that aim to educate and test in a variety of areas. From nutritional knowledge to presentation skills and even front-of-house finesse, our team will be put to the test!
By getting to the semi-final they have won £500 worth of Russums vouchers for the College and £30 per learner already. The main prize (alongside the prestigious award) is an all-expenses-paid gastronomic 5 day trip to Europe – c’est magnifique!
Two years ago, we made the final, earning our place at the Dorchester. Fingers and toes crossed, we can pull out all the stops to fight for a place this year.
