Pre Prom Pampering session

School pupils looked a million dollars after visiting the College for a pre-prom pampering session.

The group from Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School spent a morning at the College’s Salon Fifty where they were treated to a range of dazzling hair and beauty treatments.

Pupils in Year 11 at the Coventry school were celebrating the end of their final year with many of them set to join the College from September.

The visit gave them the opportunity to experience the College and the range of treatments on offer in Salon Fifty – which is open to the public.

As well as having their hair cut, coloured and styled by current learners working towards hair and beauty programmes, pupils were also treated to a series of manicures and pedicures ahead of their big event.

Hair & Beauty Curriculum Lead Emily Hemming was delighted that the College hosted the group in the run-up to the prom.

Emily said: “It was fantastic to welcome pupils from one of our feeder schools to Salon Fifty and see them all enjoying themselves.

“The salon was buzzing all day and all the pupils who came along had big smiles on their faces as they were really excited about their prom.”

She added: “The group were really pleased with their new looks and styles and hopefully we helped to add some sparkle to their big day.”
