Coventry College’s Early Years T Level learners recently took part in an exciting and impactful work experience programme with Digital Innovators, a leading organisation dedicated to preparing students for the transition into employment.

Developing job-related skills

The programme provided students with the opportunity to develop essential workplace skills that will complement their classroom learning and prepare them for future career success.

As part of their T Level course, which combines academic knowledge with industry experience, the learners engaged in the Transition to Work programme hosted by Digital Innovators. The initiative focused on equipping students with vital employment-ready skills, including team building, presentation skills, problem-solving, and much more.

A key component of the programme was the emphasis on Green Skills, reflecting the growing need for environmentally conscious practices in all industries. The students were tasked with delivering a presentation on how technology and digital skills can be harnessed to protect nature and reduce environmental harm. Their ideas were both innovative and inspiring, showcasing creative solutions for a sustainable and positive green future.
