FAQs

I haven’t applied for a place for September yet – can I still come to CovFest?

Yes! CovFest is for learners who are considering applying, as well as those who have already applied.

Can I apply for a programme on the day?

Yes, our staff will be on hand to help you apply for a programme and to answer any questions you may have.

I’ve already applied for a programme starting in September – can I change my study programme?

Of course – our staff will be able to point you in the right direction if you wish to change the programme you’ve applied for.

I’m not sure which subject I’d like to study in September – can I attend more than one CovFest session?

Of course – please register for whichever sessions you’re interested in.

What if I can’t attend the date for the programme/subject I’ve applied for?

If you’re unable to attend, please let us know at [email protected] as we may be able to arrange an alternative opportunity for you to come into the College at a later date this summer.

Will there be anywhere to get careers advice from at CovFest?

Yes! You can speak to our tutors who will be able to give you lots of information about the programmes offered and what they could lead to in the future.

Can I bring my parents along?

CovFest is a chance for learners to experience what college life will be like when you join us in September, so we ask that you attend on your own. However, if you will require any additional support at CovFest, please let us know by emailing [email protected].

Is there parking available?

There is paid for parking at our City Campus, off Bath Street and free parking at the Alan Higgs Centre. Parking is available on a first come first served basis and a space can’t be guaranteed. Therefore, it may be easier if you are able to get a lift or use public transport. You can find directions here.

Will refreshments be available?

We will provide a lunch for you on the day. There are water fountains around the campus and our cafes will be open should you wish to purchase food or drink.
