This is a part time evening course aimed at learners who have a strong knowledge of studio and location photography, who wish to further their skills using our outstanding studio and darkroom facilities. The course is project-based involving the completion of three units over the year.
Each unit will require a portfolio of photographic prints. The portfolio will be supported with a workbook, which will demonstrate evidence of research and development of ideas and techniques, experiments using a variety of photographic techniques, and evaluation.
Students will study a range of advanced photographic applications involving studio and location technique, and will also have the opportunity to choose their own area of study for the final unit. There will be an opportunity to use traditional darkroom and/or modern digital techniques.
