Level 3 Certificate in Photography
This course is for learners who are 19 and over.
This course is aimed at students who already have a good understanding of photographic practice and want to extend their knowledge. You will complete three units in a year and have the opportunity to use any of our outstanding facilities from studio, digital and darkroom. The course is run on Tuesdays from 6.00pm – 9.00pm starting on 26th September 2017.
The course is project-based involving the completion of three units over the year. Each unit will require a portfolio of photographic prints. The portfolio will be supported with a workbook which will show evidence of research and development of ideas and techniques.
Students will study a variety of photographic applications involving studio and location technique.
You need to have completed the C&G Level 2 course in Photography or have folio evidence of prior knowledge.
The cost of this course is £500 (funding isn't available on this course).

We will check your application to see if you meet the standard entry requirements for the course. If you do, you’ll receive an invitation via email to attend an interview with a Curriculum Tutor.
Fees and funding
If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
From entry-level qualifications, through to degree-level and specialist professional courses there’s something here for students with little or no formal education right up to career high-flyers. Expect a vibrant environment where you can meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
