Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting
This is the second stage of the AAT programme of courses, designed to develop highly-skilled support staff in the fields of finance and accountancy. This course is taught in two options, either day release or two evenings per week.
We have had the same staff teaching AAT for over six years. They know the subjects, respect the students, the students respect them and keep coming back. Every year hundreds of students study AAT at Coventry College.
Subjects you study include:
- Advanced bookkeeping
- Final accounts preparation
- Management accounting costing
- Indirect tax
- Spreadsheets for accounting
- Ethics for accountants
You need a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or alternatively, an equivalent qualification or appropriate work experience.
A place on the course is also subject to a successful interview with the course organiser.
Making your application
We will check your application to see if you meet the standard entry requirements for the course. If you do, you’ll receive an invitation via email to attend an interview with a Curriculum Tutor.
Fees and funding
If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
From entry-level qualifications, through to degree-level and specialist professional courses there’s something here for students with little or no formal education right up to career high-flyers. Expect a vibrant environment where you can meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
