A Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration is designed for those who are employed in an office-based role and who wish to become skilled across a broad range of business and administration procedures. It is also suitable for those who wish to assume a level of responsibility.

Subjects you may cover include:

  • Contribute to decision-making in a business environment
  • Plan and organise an event
  • Deliver, monitor and evaluate customer service to internal/external customers
  • Contribute to running a project
  • Order products and services

There are a number of units within the Business Administration qualification which can suit HR, Finance, Sales Support and IT roles. You will receive the support of a qualified assessor to choose the most appropriate units to be studied.

At the end of the course, you will gain an NVQ Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You can then progress onto CMI Level 5 Management and Leadership.

You will receive regular workplace assessments in order to assess competency and you will be required to sit a number of exams during the length of your programme.

You will be required to sit functional skill Level 2 English and maths if you do not have Grades 4 (C) or above.

This apprenticeship will require college attendance in which you will create a portfolio of evidence as part of your course.
