Level 3 Access to Higher Education – Humanities
This course is for learners who are 19 and over.
The Access to Higher Education course prepares you to study at university and is also widely recognised by employers. It is designed for those who have left school without the usual qualifications such as A Levels.
The hours of study consist of 10 mandatory class contact hours per week. You will also need to commit to self-study outside of class times.
Within the course, we offer subjects such as:

In addition to the 45 credits, a further 15 credits will be ungraded, 6 credits will be from study skills and the further 9 credits will be from core modules.
Assessments for these subjects will be a mix of written assessments/essays, presentations, exams, online-based assessments and reports.
This Access course is aimed at learners who wish to progress on to humanities-related professional training courses.
