Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Food Production & Cooking
You will be able to learn on the job and get paid while studying for your qualification. However, if you do not have a job then we will help you to find one.
You will study:
- Maintaining a Safe, Hygienic and Secure Working Environment (Core unit)
- Contributing to Effective Teamwork
- Maintaining Food Safety when Storing, Preparing and Cooking Food
- Plus a Technical Certificate and English and maths
Assessments take place in the work place and through a portfolio of evidence of knowledge and competence in performing a range of tasks built up over a period of time.
You can progress to a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
Minimum GCSE grade 3 (D) in maths & English or Level 1. Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy, plus a positive school reference and a successful interview
