Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration

Administrators are the backbone of any company and this course will give you the office skills you need for a good career.

You will study:

  • Working in administration
  • Written business communication
  • Communicate with customers
  • Organise business travel and accommodation
  • Organise business meetings
  • Career planning in administration

These areas of study will lead to a OCR Level 2 Diploma in Administration, plus OCR Level 1 ITQ Award, and Functional Skills in maths and English.

The Diploma is an assignment based qualification with examinations in Functional Skills in maths and English.

The next step after successful completion of this course would be the Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. Alternatively, you may choose to seek employment in an office environment through a Apprenticeship scheme or as a full-time employee.


This course may be free for 16-18yrs; for 19-23yrs, course is free if you have not achieved a full Level 2 qualification.

1st year course fee is £994; exam fee £89.

This course requires 4 GCSEs grade 3-1 (D-G) with a 3 (D) in English or maths.

Fees and funding

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
