This qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team. This will focus on the study of leading a team in a business environment.

How is the qualification structured?
To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading, you are required to successfully complete the required units:
- Principles of Team Leading
- Understand Business
- Understand How to Communicate Work-Related Information
- Understand Customers
- Understand How to Deliver Customer Service and Resolve Problems
- Understand How to Develop Working Relationships with Colleagues
- Understand Health and Safety Procedures in the Workplace
- Understand Personal Development
How is it assessed?
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading you must successfully demonstrate your achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units. This is achieved by completing assessments provided in the learning resources. The Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading is internally assessed.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. You must be aged 19+ and resided in the EU for the last 3 years in order to access funding.
This course is free of charge*, however, there is a charge of £50 which will be payable if you do not complete the course.

Fees and funding
If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
