To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice & Guidance you are required to successfully complete the required units:

  • Developing interaction skills for information, advice or guidance
  • Signposting and referral in information, advice or guidance
  • Information, advice or guidance – context
  • Managing information

How is it assessed?

To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice and Guidance, you must successfully demonstrate your achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units. This is achieved by completing assessments provided in the learning resources. The Level 2 Certificate in Information Advice and Guidance is internally assessed.

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. You must be aged 19+ and resided in the EU for the last 3 years in order to access funding.

This course is free of charge*, however, there is a charge of £125 which will be payable if you do not complete the course.
