Course Overview
This exciting course is designed to give you the skills you need to progress into employment in the hotel and hospitality industry, working in careers such as front of house, hotel reception and hospitality services.
This course is specifically designed for adults only, aged 19+, looking for a change in career or upskilling to get back into employment.
On successful completion of the course you will be offered an interview with a national hotel chain.
Units of study include:
- Introduction to the Hospitality sector
- Customer Service
- Housekeeping and guest services
- Food hygiene and health and safety
The course is 20 weeks long and will commence in January 2024
• Minimum L1 FS in English or relevant GCSE at Grade 3/D
• Successful completion of an interview with a member of the team
• A positive reference
Confirmed at interview and enrolment. Funding is available for students, depending on personal circumstances

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
