If you want to learn English, make friends, have fun and explore the UK come and join us in the July and/or August

Coventry College is a well-resourced, high quality, public college in Coventry with experienced teachers offering excellent summer schools at affordable rates. We are British Council Accredited for English Language teaching.

After learning English every morning with our highly qualified tutors you can learn more about the UK and have fun by joining in with our afternoon activity schedule.

We will take you to see cultural cities like London, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Liverpool or Manchester, and you can visit UK university campuses to make your future choices easier.

Whatever programme you choose you’ll make new friends from around the world and have a great time.

You will stay with a local British family and find out what it’s really like to live in the UK, perhaps even make friends for life with your Hosts.

Our International English language programme is made up of the following elements.

Summer School Course (What’s included?)

  • General English 15 hours, 2 half day activities and 1 full day excursion at the weekend.
  • Accommodation with a Local Host family, including half board meals, weekly laundry and Wi Fi.
  • How Much Is It?
    • Total per week = £410
    • 4 weeks = £1,640
    • 8 weeks = £3,080 (10% discount)

    All courses have an additional £80 admin fee. Additional charges apply for airport transfers.

    Are You Under 18?

    We are currently able to accept students from 16 years old on our EFL courses, however, please note that outside class, in and around the campus and outside of the College you are not formally supervised and when your parents sign the application form they are consenting to this arrangement.

    Week 2

    • Ten Pin Bowling
    • London – Museum and free time
    • Coventry Motor Museum.

    Week 3

    • Coventry Orientation and Dinner
    • Liverpool – Museum and free time
    • Laser Quest Coventry

    Week 4

    • Mini Golf in Memorial Park
    • Warwick – Warwick Castle
    • Dinner at local restaurant (End of Month)

    Week 5

    • Coventry Orientation and Treasure Hunt
    • Birmingham – Sea Life Centre and free time
    • Ice Skating

    Week 6

    • Ten Pin Bowling
    • London – Museum and free time
    • Coventry Motor Museum

    Week 7

    • Coventry Orientation and Dinner
    • Stratford – Shakespeare’s House and free time
    • Laser Quest

    Week 8

    • Coventry Cathedral and Herbert Gallery
    • Bath
    • Dinner in local restaurant (end of 8 weeks)
