Would you like to gain a higher education qualification with no exams, supportive environment, and small classes sizes that is vocationally relevant.
Higher National qualifications have long been widely recognised by industry as valuable vocational higher education qualification, that is the equivalent of the first two years of a degree.
This course is assessed solely through industry relevant set assignments and not exams. This allows students to develop the skills and knowledge for success in today’s workplace. HND qualifications are regularly updated which have recently been updated with input from industry, employers, professional bodies, tutors and students to ensure the qualification meet the needs and expectations of a changing global world.
This is a supportive qualification that is taught through small classes where the opportunity to talk to teachers and peers is uppermost.
The purpose of the HND is to enhance your career prospects by developing professional self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in a constantly changing world.

- Unit 20: Organisational Behaviour
- Unit 21: Financial Reporting
- Unit 24: Understanding and Leading Change
- Unit 29: Managing and Running a Small Business
- Unit 33: Employee Relations
Entry criteria is successful completion of a Higher National Certificate in Business within the past two years

This course is free If you live in the West Midlands Combined Authority area. To be eligible for this funding you must:
Be 19+ years old
Live in the West Midlands
Have never completed a Level 4 qualification
Be on a low wage below £30,000 or unemployed.
The decisions on applications for HE candidates are made by curriculum staff after interview, audition or portfolio review have taken place.

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
