These maths groups are friendly and are made for you to improve your practical maths skills. You will be tested to determine your level and an individual learning plan will be drawn up. All maths courses are designed to develop your basic maths skills. Your progress will be reviewed and feedback is given during confidential one-to-one meetings. When you are ready, you will take a test for a functional skills qualification at your level. This course is run over various days during the day and evening for your convenience.

Making your application

We will check your application to see if you meet the standard entry requirements for the course. If you do, you’ll receive an invitation via email to attend an interview with a Curriculum Tutor.

Fees and funding

If you are aged 16-18 and applying for a full-time programme, then you will not have to pay for your course. If you are aged 19+ then there may be a fee for your course.
