Mathumitha Vinayagamoorthy
Mathumitha Vinayagamoorthy completed both Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications at Coventry College. After achieving an outstanding DDD in her Level 3 studies, Mathumitha progressed to Aston University, where she earned a BSc in Psychology. She now holds the position of Business Development Executive at Medgen Healthcare.
Choosing Coventry College
Reflecting on her choice to study at Coventry College, Mathumitha says, “I chose Coventry College because there was a wide range of work experience that I could engage with, which would be beneficial for my future.” This emphasis on practical experience was a key factor in her decision, as it allowed her to gain hands-on knowledge and insights into her chosen field.

My time at Coventry College was very fun. I enjoyed every bit of it. I had some amazing teachers and met a lot of lovely people.
Supportive environment
The supportive and welcoming environment at the college played a significant role in her academic success. “I got DDD, so you could imagine how much support I was getting from the teachers,” she adds. One of the most influential figures during her time at Coventry College was her tutor, Kirsty. “She was such an amazing tutor and helped me throughout my whole time there. Any questions I had, she was there to help and guide me. The support from staff is amazing.”
She adds, “In college I was in always made me feel safe, and I was able to speak to staff whenever I had any concerns,” This supportive environment, coupled with the advice and guidance from her tutors, helped her make informed decisions about her future career.
