Getting to Coventry College
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to travel to our campuses – whether you’re coming from across the city or from further afield. Both our City Campus and The Alan Higgs Centre are well connected by train, bus, and car, with discounted travel options available for students.
By Train
By Train
Coventry is served by Coventry Train Station, which offers regular services to and from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Atherstone, Rugby, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and other nearby towns.
- The station is approximately a 20–25 minute walk from our City Campus.
- For The Alan Higgs Centre, the train station is about a 15–20 minute walk to Pool Meadow Bus Station, where you can catch the number 3 bus directly to the centre.
Many students could benefit from a 16–25 Railcard, which gives you 1/3 off most rail fares across the UK. This can be used not only for travelling to college but also for exploring other cities and towns.
You can plan your journey and check train times using The Trainline or National Rail.
By Bus

Our campuses are easily accessible via local bus routes.
- City Campus: Bus numbers 3, 21, and 22 stop directly outside the College.
- Most other routes terminate at Pool Meadow Bus Station, Hales Street, or Trinity Street, all within a five-minute walk of the campus.
- The Alan Higgs Centre: Bus number 3 stops on Jasmine Grove, just a short walk away.
