Coventry College would like to thank Sata UK

On Friday 6th April, Matt Stevens, Managing Director of Sata UK, donated £4,500 of the latest spray equipment to the body workshop, which is situated at the City Campus.

The equipment donated included some of the best technology which is currently on the market. Phillip Gelder, Teacher body repair, Automotive and Engineering was extremely grateful to Matt and knew that it would help to enhance the level of equipment that is already in the workshop.

Both Phillip and Matt know each other from judging Worldskills competitions, it was during this time that the two of them arranged the donation to Coventry College.

“Gaining donations like this enables Coventry College gives our students the chance to learn with the best technology and train to high standards,” said Phillip. Matt continued with “We need to train students to use our equipment to reinvest in our future customers.”

Matt explained how Sata is extremely customer focussed and wants to enable their customers to understand how it works correctly and has offered to come to the College to give demonstrations to the students in the near future.

The College welcomes the return of Sata UK and will be providing updates on their visits in the future.
