Coventry College is a Ragdale Hall College of Excellence
Coventry College is a Ragdale Hall College of Excellence. Only 25 colleges meet the strict criteria, which includes high standards of training. One of the benefits of being a College of Excellence is that our students can enter the annual ‘Student of Excellence’ competition.
The winning student is offered a Beauty Therapist post at Ragdale Hall, along with a fantastic employment package training.
The two students entering from Coventry College this year are Deniesha Williams and Kat Niemiel.
Deniesha is a level 3 beauty therapy student she worked exceptionally hard to complete her level 2 Beauty therapy. Her tutor Cathy Davis who nominated her says “Deniesha is very professional and her treatments are all carried out to a very high standard.”
She has excellent feedback from clients, she works really hard and strives to be the best therapist she can be. She has passed all of her exams at the 1st attempt and has shown excellent knowledge both in her theory exams and during her practical assessments.”
Deniesha says “I didn’t get the best grades at school but it just goes to show if you apply yourself you can achieve great things and I am very proud to be asked to represent the College in this competition.”
Kat Niemiec is also studying for a level 3 beauty therapy qualification.
She completed her level 2 and her tutor Cathy says: “I recommended Kat for the Ragdale Hall “Student of Excellence” award as she is a very professional therapist and because English is her second language, I feel she has worked hard to overcome these barriers and maintain excellent client communication and client care.
Kat is well organised and knows exactly what she wants to do after finishing college. She will be a great asset to the beauty therapy industry as she sets her own targets and goals and works hard to achieve them.
Her treatments are of a very high standard and she has passed her practical and theory assessments to a high grade.”
Kat says “I used to be shy and now I am excited about this opportunity to improve my skills. Even if I don’t win I will enjoy the whole experience.”
Good luck to both girls at the competition which takes place in February.
