Apprentice competitor 2015, Mergim Butaja visits Coventry College

Thank you to the Apprentice competitor 2015, Mergim Butaja for visiting Coventry College.

Mergim came into the College to speak with our Business, English and Maths students. His inspirational talk provided them with understanding of his life experiences that drove him forward to apply for the Apprentice in 2015. Amongst 200,000 other applicants he got through to the final 18.

His experience of the Apprentice was priceless and has since started up a Business that has already made over a million pounds. See what Alan Sugar said about him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeJz77ujXs0

Full time GCSE English and Maths students have worked in groups for 5 weeks designing a product to put forward to judging panel, that consisted of Mergim and our teaching staff Hayley Stacey, Kim Stanton and Bradley Rowley, the judging panel chose their favourite product.

Well done to the winners (pictured below)
